Buinovsko Gorge is located near the village Buynovo Borino Municipality. Longitudinal of the gorge is about 10 km. This is an impressive with its natural beauty sitting in the Rhodope Mountains and attracts many tourists visit. The gorge rises majestically above Buinovska River near the village Teshel. The river cuts through limestone rocks and sheer cliffs are adjacent to each other. Place where the rocks almost touch is called by locals "Wolf jump." Residents of nearby village Yagodina say that this place during winter jump hungry wolf packs to attack their folds. Buynovsko Gorge is known for its great diversity of plant and animal species, many of which are protected. The gorge was declared a natural landmark in 1971
